INSTRUMENT SERVICES
Instrument Selection
Picking the right instrument can be complicated. Our technicians
have the experience and training to assist you in clarifying your
instrument requirements and selecting the right instruments.
Instrument Rental
Whether you need an instrument occasionally or want to try out an
instrument before you buy, our rental program is perfect for you.
You can rent daily, weekly or monthly.
FREE Training
We offer FREE training with every instrument you purchase. You’ll
learn how to operate the unit, alarms, set calibration and select
the proper user mode for your applications.
Calibration
Most instruments need to be calibrated frequently to ensure their
accuracy. Calibration gas mixes vary by instrument and can be
expensive. Let us do the job for you! The large volume of
instruments we service ensures that our gases are always fresh, our
documentation up to date and our technicians current. We also
provide complete calibration kits that meet the instrument
manufacturer’s specifications.
Repair
Instrument not working? Our factory trained and certified
technicians will run diagnostics, check sensor performance and
remaining sensor life and identify potential corrosion problems.
Your unit(s) will then be accurately calibrated and returned with
documentation certifying that they have been tested and meet
regulatory requirements. We at Continental Safety Equipment’s
Technical Services Division believe that any device used to monitor
IDLH environments should be checked and calibrated at least
annually.
Maintenance Agreements
Because we know how important up-time is to you, we offer annual
maintenance agreements to keep your instruments or fixed systems in
top working order. We will schedule maintenance, repair, and
calibration appointments at regular intervals to meet your specific
needs.
Fixed Systems
We offer on-site maintenance, calibration and repair for most fixed
systems. We can also help you design and specify replacement
systems and new installations.
RESPIRATORY SERVICES
Fit Testing
New hire and annual recertificiation fit testing can eat away your
valuable time. Let us do it for you. We provide both qualitative and
quantitative fit testing. Your employees can come to our lab or if
you have a number of employees to be tested, we can come to your
site. We will provide documentation certifying that your employees
have been fit tested and meet regulatory requirements for your
employee files.
Flow Testing
We will flow test your apparatus, replace cracked or badly scratched
lenses, clean or replace sticky exhaust valves and adjust pressure
settings and alarms as required. Your unit(s) will be returned with
documentation certifying that they have been tested and meet
regulatory requirement. Annual flow testing is required by OSHA and
NFPA.
SUPPLIES
Do you like to do it yourself? We have calibration gases, fit
testing products, valves, bags, tubing, kits, cases etc. Call us
with your supply needs.
